(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On June 7, 2015, just after 12:30 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a Ford SUV on St. Clair Street, south of Pioneer Line, for a speeding violation.
While the officer was speaking with the driver, 40 year old Michael DENEAU, from Dover Centre, ON, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit and he will appear in a Chatham court on June 26, 2015, to answer to the charge of Driving With More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol In Blood.
