(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 21 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a North Main Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at approximately 2:41a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Queensway West and Queen Street North, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated at a North Main Street address.
As a result of investigation, police charged 21-year-old Michael Christopher MATTHYS of Norfolk County, Ontario with possession of Marihuana, driving over the legal limit, red light-fail to stop and driver fail to surrender licence.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
