(Prince Edward County, ON)— On May 10, 2015 at 4:24pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment received a report of an erratic driver travelling Northbound on Highway 62.
OPP stopped the vehicle South of Rossmore. The female driver appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
43-year old Mia QUILTY of Picton, ON was is charged with Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Operation With Over 80mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on May 27th, 2015.
