(PEMBROKE, ON) – On February 01, 2017 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the City of Pembroke. A quantity of drugs, cash and cell phones were seized and two Pembroke residents were arrested. 28 year old Samantha MCLAUGHLIN and 36 year old Timothy TURCOTTE are both charged with the following CDSA offences:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana under 30 grams
Both were released on a Promise To Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on March 07, 2017.
