Methamphetamine Bust – ARMALY, DUVAL, DUVAL & PAUL

(CALVIN TOWNSHIP, ON) – On May 23, 2018, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and Mattawa OPP detachment officers executed a search warrant on a residence in Calvin Township, Ontario.

Officers located suspected methamphetamine pills with a street value of over $300, suspected hydromorphone pills with a street value of over $1000, suspected marihuana with a street value of over $900, a firearm, Canadian currency, and an illegal knife.

Police arrested and charged four people as a result of the warrant.

Jesse ARMALY, age 22, of Mattawa, Ontario, was charged with the following:

Possession of a Schedule II substance – cannabis marihuana over 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA);

Possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA; and

Unauthorized possession of a weapon contrary to section 91(2) of the Criminal Code (CC).

Glen DUVAL, age 53, of Calvin Township, Ontario, was charged with the following:

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking x 2 contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA;

Possession of a Schedule II substance – cannabis marihuana over 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA; and

Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC.

Nancy DUVAL, age 69, of Calvin Township, Ontario, was charged with breach of firearms regulation – store firearm or restricted weapon contrary to section 86(2) of the CC.

Linda PAUL, age 46, of Papineau-Cameron Township, Ontario, was charged with trafficking a Schedule I substance contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA.

All accused have been released on a Promise to Appear to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa, Ontario, on July 4, 2018.
