(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Sunday June 16, 2013, around 8:10 p.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a RIDE program on Perth Line 20 in St.Pauls.
A Pontiac Sunfire with three occupants was stopped and the male driver was given a Road Side Screening Device breath demand. The road side breath test indicated that the driver had a blood alcohol concentration but that it was below limits requiring suspension. A further check did indicate that the driver was on conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol.
Melville DOS SANTOS (34) from Brampton has been charged with fail to comply undertaking before officer in charge. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on July 09, 2013 to answer to this charge.
