On June 27, 2016, at approximately 1:40am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the OPP responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver.
While patrolling, officers located the motor vehicle and driver on Kerr Crescent in Trenton.
After an investigation it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Melissa WILLIAMS, 37, of Trenton has been charged with:
Driving While Ability Impaired – 253(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada
Care or Control Over 80 mgs. – 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada
The female was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on July 14th, 2016.
