(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County detachment has charged a 47-year-old male after investigating an incident at an Imperial Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Monday, March 7, 2016 at approximately 8:21 p.m., police attended the address after being called by the homeowner reporting a vehicle in their driveway.
Through the course of investigation it was determined that the male attended the residence after dropping off a passenger. The passenger and the driver then became involved in a verbal confrontation at which time police were contacted.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 47-year-old Peter Michael MCNELIS of St Catharines, Ontario with the following offences.
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone
Obstruct peace officer
Theft under $5,000
Breach of Recognizance
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
