MCCLELLAND – Drunk Driving

(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Wednesday June 28, 2017 at approximately 4:15 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment responded to a serious two vehicle collision at the intersection of Rosemount Road and Highway 12 in Tay Township Ontario. A Honda CRV was northbound on Rosemount Road when it entered into the path of a westbound vehicle on Highway 1

On July 28, 2017 as the result of a police investigation, the female driver of the Honda CRV, Treena MCCLELLAND (age 44) of Tay Township has been charged with:

Adult Driving While Ability Impaired – Motor Vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Adult Driving with more than 80 mgs. of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused also received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 3, 2017 in Midland, Ontario.
