Matthew SNIVELY – Drugs, Refuse To Blow

(ESSEX, ON)— The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex was conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) initiative on December 23, 2015 on Essex County Road 11 in the Town of McGregor.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., a black Ford entered the RIDE initiative and was issued a Roadside Screening Device demand. He registered a “Fail” and was arrested at the scene. Officers also located marihuana as well as open liquor inside the vehicle.

Matthew SNIVELY, age 38 of Essex, was charged with Fail to Provide Breath Sample, Possession of a Schedule II Substance and Have Open Liquor (Liquor Licence Act). He will appear in a Windsor court on January 28, 2016 to answer to the charges.
