On August 4th, 2015 at 10:30 p.m., members of the Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Holborn Court in the city of Kitchener for multiple reports of a physical altercation involving weapons. Upon arrival, parties fled the area and were located nearby. No charges are pending in relation to this altercation, however, Matthew McLennan, 18 years old, was arrested for Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest x 2 and Trespass by Night. He was subsequently released from custody on a Promise to Appear. Two officers attended hospital to receive medical attention for minor injuries resulting from the interaction with the accused.
