(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday afternoon July 19, 2014, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were contacted by a Listowel resident who reported observing a bicycle which matched the description of his stolen bike.
Investigation confirmed that the victim’s bike had been stolen in May of this year. A short time later, officers located a male riding the bicycle on Main St. East in Listowel.
Matthew EVANGELHO (27) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with “possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000†contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on September 03, 2014 to answer to this charge.
