Traffic Stop Leads to Recovery of Property
On August 8th, a Wingham Police Officer observed a male driving on Josephine St who the officer knew to be a suspended driver. The vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested for driving under suspension.
During the subsequent search, the officer discovered marijuana and crystal meth. Also in the vehicle were tools reported stolen from a Wingham address in May of 2014. 32 year old Matthew Cameron of Wingham is charged with Drive While Suspended, Operate a Motor Vehicle with no Insurance, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
