Matthew BLONDEEL – Drunk Driving, Possess More Than One Licence

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On Saturday, November 9, 2013, just after 2 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2002 Audi car on Grand Avenue East near Communication Road after observing the vehicle being driven well below the posted speed limit.

While the officer was speaking with the driver of the car, 26 year old Matthew BLONDEEL from Chatham, ON, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.

After numerous attempts by the officer to obtain a breath sample, the driver refused to provide a suitable breath sample into the Roadside Screening Device (RSD).

The driver will appear in a Chatham court on Friday, December 13, 2013 to answer to the following charges:

Refuse To Provide Breath Sample

Drive Motor Vehicle, No Validation On Plate

Novice Driver B.A.C. Over Zero

Possess More Than One Licence
