(TINY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Sunday November 15, 2015 at approximately 12:00 a.m. officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E check on Balm Beach Road in Tiny Township when they observed a Chevrolet motor vehicle driving in a suspicious manner. The motor vehicle was stopped at the R.I.D.E. check.
After further investigation, it was determined that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol. The female driver was arrested and taken to the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment for further tests.
As a result, Mary SOTTILE (age 43) of Tiny Township has been charged with:
– Operate Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Operate Motor Vehicle with over 80 mgs. contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on December 3, 2015 in Midland, ON.
