(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A 19 year old driver is facing a court date and a seven day driver’s licence suspension after he was stopped for racing on Amberley Road on February 20, 2014. Just after 6:30 a.m. a Chevrolet Impala was observed speeding eastbound on Amberley Road east of Lucknow. A radar device was used to measure the vehicle’s speed at a high of 138 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Martin REINHARDT, 19, from South Bruce was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He has a court appearance scheduled for March 18, 2014 at Provincial Offences Court in Goderich to answer to the charge. His driver’s licence has been seized for seven days and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
