MARTIN – Impaired Driving, Flight From Police, Drive While Suspended

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST GREY, ON) – On April 22, 2016 at approximately 12:22 p.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 1997 Dodge RPC pick-up truck travelling southbound on Grey Rd. 23 in the Municipality of West Grey for a Highway Traffic Act Violation. The lone driver was found to be impaired by drug.

55-year old Kim Diane MARTIN, of the Municipality of West Grey, was charged with the following offences:

– Driving Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired – By Drug

– Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000

– Flight While Pursued by a Peace Officer

– Possession of Marihuana – Under 30 grams

– Possession of Marihuana Resin – Under 1 gram

– Driving While Under Suspension

– Use Plates Not Authorized

She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on June 2, 2016.
