Mark Ryan – Drunk Driving

(Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh, ON) At approximately 5:00 pm on July 18th, 2010 a Huron OPP officer was patrolling on Nile Road when the officer initiated a traffic stop. Upon speaking to the driver however, the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from the drivers’ breath. The officer made a demand for the driver to provide a roadside sample of his breath and the driver complied. The result of the test was a fail so the driver was arrested and taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two more samples of his breath. The results confirmed that the driver had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.

As a result of the traffic stop and subsequent investigation, Mark RYAN (45) of Dashwood was charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He will answer to his charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on August 30, 2010. LP10190973
