(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Cockshutt Road, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, November 17, 2016 at approximately 4:51 a.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two (2) vehicles.
Through the course of investigation, it has determined that a vehicle was travelling westbound on Concession 3 when the driver collided with another vehicle being operated by a 56-year-old male of Norfolk County, Ontario at the intersection of Cockshutt Road.
No injuries were sustained by either driver.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 30-year-old Mark KUNKEL of Norfolk County, Ontario with disobey stop sign- fail to stop contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He was subsequently issued a Provincial Offence Notice.
