(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On August 22, 2014 at 5:30pm, OPP officers were conducting marine patrol in the area of Bear Pass, Rainy Lake. As a result, a male operating a vessel was found to have open liquor. A 39 year old male from Hines, MN was charged with Having Care and Control of a Boat Underway with Open Container of Liquor contrary to the Liquor Licence Act. The fine carries a $175.00 fine and officers seized liquor.
