Police received a call from a concerned boater on Kempenfelt Bay. The caller advised that there was a SeaDoo being operated in a reckless manner. The Barrie Police Marine Unit attended the area of Tollendale Park and was able to locate the SeaDoo and operator.
After speaking with the witness, officers cautioned the operator of the vessel with regards to unsafe operation.
Police would like to remind vessel operators that it is a criminal offence to operate a vessel in a manner that is dangerous to the public.
