(CALEDON, ON) – On Sunday, June 19, 2016 an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a black Mitsubishi Lancer driving erratically in the Caledon area. The vehicle was observed to be driving in the oncoming lane.
Mariah Corrine POULIN, 22, from Caledon was charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
Adult Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood
Adult Driving While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle (Alcohol)
Adult Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana
The 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to make her first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on July 20, 2016.
