(ALFRED PLANTAGENET TOWNSHIP, ON) – As a result of an ongoing investigation of a motor vehicle collision, officers from the Hawkesbury County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Hawkesbury area man.
Marc MARCOTTE, 57 years old, is charged:
One (1) Count. Dangerous Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Cause Bodily Harm.
One (1) Count. Driving While Impaired, Cause Bodily Harm.
One (1) Count. Driving With More Than Over 80 mgs of Alcohol.
OPP responded to call to a two vehicle collision on County Road 17 near Lajeunesse Road at about 04.00am on Tuesday May 10, 2016.
Investigation revealed that MARCOTTE was the driver of an eastbound Mazda motor vehicle which collided with a westbound Buick vehicle.
MARCOTTE was released to appear at the Provincial Court in L’Orignal on September 14, 2016.
