(TECUMSEH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh remains at the scene of a two vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. this evening on Manning Road near Baseline Road.
The OPP, Tecumseh Fire Rescue and Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) were called to attend the crash involving a Chrysler vehicle and a tractor trailer. The driver of the Chrysler sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver of the tractor trailer received minor injuries in the crash.
Manning Road between Baseline Road and Essex County Road 42 is expected to be closed for the next several hours while the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) investigate the cause of the collision.
