(LAKESHORE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore responded to a call for a fight on June 7, 2015 at approximately 12:30 a.m.
Officers arrived and observed a vehicle leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was pulled over in the 300 block of Broadway Avenue in Belle River. The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment. Officers attempted to arrest her at the scene but she struggled with them. She was taken into custody.
Mandy THRASHER, age 34 of Lakeshore was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content, and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest.
She will appear in a Windsor court on June 18, 2015 to answer to the charges.
