(PEMBROKE, ON) – On the 29th of February 2016, the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a serious injury incident on Forest Lea Road in Laurentian Valley Twp. A 33 year old Laurentian Valley Twp. male had been found trapped under a vehicle and the County of Renfrew Emergency Services Department was assisting. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Ministry of Labor was notified and is investigating.
