Man Held After Refusing To Blow

(AURORA, ON) – On Monday August 1, 2016, at approximately 1:52 a.m., Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Highway Safety Division (HSD) – Toronto Detachment received a call of a collision on Highway 401 eastbound, near Keele Street, in Toronto, Ontario.

Officers attended the location to investigate the single vehicle collision. The involved driver was identified as Peter Ese-Osa UHUANGHO, a 53 year old man from Chatham Ontario. He was not injured in the collision, but was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Toronto OPP detachment for breath tests. As a result of the investigation the accused was charged with refusing to provide a breath sample and subsequently held in custody for a bail hearing.
