(CITY OF KINGSTON) – On 19th of February 2016, at approximately 7:00pm, Frontenac OPP was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 westbound between Joyceville Road and John F Scott Road in the City of Kingston.
Investigation revealed that a grey car involved in the collision hit the center concrete median. The driver exited his vehicle and was proceeding to cross the 401 westbound lanes when he was struck by other westbound vehicles.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended the scene. The Highway was re-opened at 12:30a.m on 20th February 2016.
The male was deceased at the scene and a positive identification is yet to be determined. The investigation is still continuing.
