Man Charged With Drunk Driving John Deere Tractor – Name Released

(TOWNSHIP of WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On Wednesday August 30, 2017 at approximately 7:00 a.m. a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a driver of a John Deere Tractor on Sideroad 3 near Conn.

While speaking with the male driver officers formed the opinion that he was under the influence of alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for testing.

58-year-old William Thomas (Bill) ROBINSON of Wellington North has been charged with Driving with Over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) was initiated as per statute. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 6, 2017 to answer to the charges.
