The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a traffic stop yesterday in Romney Township.
Last night, just before 9:00 p.m. an officer on general patrol observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Wheatley Road. Through investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of marijuana.
Christopher Arruda, 27 years of Gary Crescent in Leamington has been charged with drug possession. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
