Yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section with the assistance of the Mobile Surveillance Team and Community Patrol Branch conducted a traffic stop on Victoria Road as part of a drug investigation. Officers searched the vehicle and recovered approximately $3,700.00 worth of fentanyl patches.
A 25-year old Chatham man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and two counts of failing to comply with release conditions. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
