Yesterday morning around 11:20 a.m. an officer on general patrol observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Mill Street East in Tilbury. The officer recorded the vehicle travelling 75 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone. The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned that the driver was suspended from driving due to unpaid fines.
The 26-year-old Windsor man was charged with driving while under suspension and speeding.
