Man Charged with Driving Under Suspension

Yesterday morning, an officer on general patrol observed a man driving a motor vehicle southbound on Lacroix Street in Chatham with an expired validation sticker. The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned that the man was currently suspended for unpaid fines and accumulating too many demerit points.

The 36-year-old Scarborough man was charged with two counts of driving while suspended and driving a motor vehicle with no validation. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
