The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with domestic violence.
Yesterday morning, police responded to a domestic disturbance in Chatham. At this time, a 51-year-old woman reported that she had been the victim of domestic abuse. Through investigation, the woman disclosed incidents dating back to October 2013.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m. last night, officers located the man and he was arrested.
The 49-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault x2 and assault with a weapon. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
