The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in regards to a harassment investigation.
On February 2, 2014 a 25-year-old woman was walking in Chatham when a grey Pontiac Grand Prix slowed down and a man offered her a ride. The woman politely declined and kept walking. The man, who lives in the same area as the woman, continued to follow her for some time until she was able to call for assistance.
Yesterday, police located man and he was arrested. The 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged with criminal harassment. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
