(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On June 4, 2015 at approximately 11:40 p.m. the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to an assault at a licensed establishment in Parry Sound. While attempting to arrest the suspect, both police officers were assaulted resulting in minor injuries to each officer.
Christopher MOLYNEAUX, 37 years of age from Parry Sound has been charged with:
1. Assault contrary to the Criminal Code (CC).
2. Resist Peace Officer contrary to the CC (2 counts).
3. Assault Peace Officer contrary to the CC.
4. Uttering Threats – Cause death or bodily harm contrary to the CC (3 counts).
5. Mischief under $5000 contrary to the CC (2 counts).
6. Fail to comply with Probation order contrary to the CC (9 counts).
The accused was held in custody and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound.
