(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) A months long investigation has resulted in the charges against a 27 year old man after police investigated a complaint regarding the unlawful distribution of intimate images. The offences were alleged to have been committed in the spring of 2016 in the communities of Sioux Lookout and Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation.
As a result of the investigation, Cory TRAINOR of Shelburne, Ontario, is charged with one count of distributing an intimate image without consent, contrary to section 162.1(1) of the criminal code.
TRAINOR was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Sioux Lookout court on September 25, 2018.
