(ESSEX, ON) –The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex was called to a residence on Prado Street on March 24, 2015 at approximately 6:00 a.m. to assist members of the Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS).
EMS had been called to attend the 100 block to assist with a medical call. When they arrived, they were approached by a male with a baseball bat, who subsequently damaged the ambulance.
The male was taken into custody. A 65 year old Essex man has been charged with Mischief Under $5000. He will appear in a Windsor Courtroom on May 7, 2015.
