(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 21, 2016 at approximately 11:35 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on patrol and investigated a suspicious person near an abandoned home on Highway 6 near Woodlawn Road, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
While speaking with the man, police found suspected marihuana and suspected psilocybin. He was arrested and released with court documents.
30-year-old Douglas ELSEY of Markstay-Warren has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams and Possession of Psilocybin contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 16, 2016.
