(Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit have been investigating a male that was believed to be in possession of explosives.
Yesterday, OPP Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU), USAR CBRNE Response Team (UCRT), Central Region Canine, Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Crime Unit members executed a warrant at a residence on Peterborough County Rd 507.
As the result of this on-going investigation, Justin Dieter KUKEMUELLER (age 30) of Trent Lakes, ON was arrested and charged with:
Unsafe storage of a firearm
Two counts of possession of explosives for an unlawful purpose
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 30, 2016.
