(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – In the early morning hours of March 18, 2017, the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of assault from a man following an altercation at his Little Current residence.
Police transported the 33 year old victim to hospital to have his injuries tended.
As a result of the investigation, Patrick Daniel KAITTING age 28 of Little Current, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following;
Uttering Threats, contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Cruelty to animals, contrary to section 445.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 9, 2017, at 10:00 am, in Gore Bay, Ontario.
