(ST.MARYS, ON) On Wednesday evening March 02, 2011, Perth County OPP in St.Marys made an arrest in the February 27th false fire alarm activation at the Pyramid Recreation Centre on James St. South in St.Marys.
As a result of a Perth County OPP investigation, cooperation between the Pyramid Centre staff and the St.Marys Fire Department, a male person was identified as being the individual responsible for the activation of the fire alarm and subsequent mischief at the Pyramid Centre.
A nineteen year old male from St.Marys has been charged with “wilfully, without cause activating a fire alarm†and with “causing mischief under $5.000â€. He is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on April 11, 2011 to answer to these charges.
