(ST.MARYS, ON) On Saturday July 13, 2013, shortly after 1:30 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a large disturbance at the corner of Queen St. East and Wellington St. North.
Upon police arrival, a large crowd of people had gathered on the street and sidewalk on Queen St. East. The crowd immediately dispersed and officers located an injured male lying on the sidewalk and a damaged storefront window. The male was immediately transported to St.Marys Memorial Hospital from where he was transferred to the London Health Sciences Victoria Campus Critical Care Unit.
The Perth County OPP Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating this incident and they are requesting anyone with information about this disturbance to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
