At approximately 2:47 pm on Thursday September 12th, members of the Barrie Police Service responded to the rear parking lot of 20 Rose Street, Ontario Provincial Police Detachment. Located on scene was a male party with a self inflicted injury; as a result he was transported to the Royal Victoria Hospital .
The male succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
Barrie Police Service, in co-operation with the Ontario Provincial Police, will be continuing with the investigation.
