(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that took place on Monday, July 21, 2014 at approximately 3:00pm. Police officers responded to the area of Ritchie Street and Carling Avenue for a report of a male who had sustained a single gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to hospital for a non-life threatening injury. The investigation is ongoing.
