(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On December 16, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., a citizen called Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment to report a break and enter to an adjacent apartment in the Municipality of North Perth.
OPP officers responded quickly and found a male victim suffering from an injury that occurred during the break and enter. Perth County Paramedic Service also attended the scene.
George POORTINGA, 33-years-old, of the Municipality of North Perth was arrested and charged with;
Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
CC 267(a) Assault with A Weapon
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on December 17, 2018.
