(KILLARNEY, ON) –On Saturday, June 25, 016, members of the Noelville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a report of a boat in distress on Beaverston Bay near Mann Island, in the Municipality of Killarney.
A 44 year old male was located unconscious in the water near the boat and transported to shore by other boaters, where CPR was performed. He was then transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A Post Mortem is scheduled for Monday, June 27, 2016.
The investigation is continuing and further information will be provided when available.
