(Cavan Monaghan Township, ON) – On August 19, 2014, at approximately 7:15 p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP received a complaint of a motor vehicle being involved in a collision on Mount Pleasant Road.
Officers attended the scene and located a Honda UAX shortly afterwards. Information was received that the vehicle had been observed travelling at high rate of speed when it lost control and entered a ditch on the side of the road. The driver was seen to then exit the vehice and enter the bush on the side of the road.
Officers initiated an investigation into the incident and after a brief search located the male who had been operating the vehicle at the time of the incident.
As a result of the investigation 28 year old Jordan DALLARD of Shelborne Street , Peterborough was charged with:
Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle
Driving while Disqualified
Failing to Comply with Probation
Suspended Driving
Operating a Motor vehicle without Insurance
Failing to Remain a an Accident
Using a Plate not Authorized for vehicle
DALLARD was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts for a Bail Hearing on 20 August 2015.
