(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday the 05th of February 2014, an Officer from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling Highway 62 in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. The Officer stopped a Pontiac car and found the adult male driver to be suspended. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of a prohibited weapon.
33 year old Gregory GREEN of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and drive suspended. Mr. GREEN was issued an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 11th of March 2014.
