(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Sunday the 02nd of February 2014, Officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a verbal argument between a male and female at a residence on Township Road 620 in Wollaston Township. Investigation into the incident determined that the male was not to have contact with the female at the residence.
A 32 year old male of Bancroft, Ontario was arrested and has been charged with failing to comply with a recognizance. He was held in custody pending bail hearing on February 03rd 2014, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the female.
